If you’ve been around here a bit, you may recall that December is for comfort reads. Starting about Halloween, if your lives are anything like ours, chaos descends and doesn’t let up until sometime in January, so we hold our December reviews very closely and use them for titles we think will bring us comfort. Will they bring you comfort? We can’t know. We don’t yuck yums, so if murder mysteries bring you comfort, please enjoy them, and let us know your favorites so we can consider them for another time of the year. We find each reader defines their comfort reads differently and encourage you to consider what titles might be best for you this month. Around here we’ll be reading a romance novel, a highly recommended title from a fabulous author, and a title that will find us reminiscing with an old (book) friend. Please check back to see our reviews of:
The Wedding Date by Jasmine Guillory
The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman
A Dangerous Collaboration (Veronica Speedwell #4) by Deanna Raybourn
We’re pretty excited about all of these titles. What are you looking forward to reading this month?
~ Ashley and Nikki
